Teresa Meggs is a Certified Sommelier and Business Specialist with over a decade of wine study and experience. She currently holds her Certified Sommelier and Certified Specialist of Wine credentials, French Wine Scholar designation, and is Wine/Spirit Educator’s Trust Level III Certified. Served as Adjunct Professor teaching The World of Wine at Kennesaw State University.
Her educational background is with the College of Business at Georgia State University. As an international traveler, she has studied in various world-class vineyards located in California, Oregon, Italy, France, Germany, Chile, and Argentina. She is currently a partner with Vino Venue/Atlanta Wine School located in Dunwoody, GA.
Before embarking on her wine career, Instructor Meggs was a general securities professional, involved in bond trading, and was a marketing coordinator for fixed income products for Prudential, Wachovia, and Wells Fargo. Ms. Meggs currently resides in Marietta, GA.
